About me

Favorite Hobby:

My favorite hobby? Reading. I’ll read just about anything, but history research and eerie tales hold a special place on my shelf. Edgar Allan Poe is a favorite—his dark, captivating stories mirror my attraction to the unsettling and mysterious, which often seeps into my creative work. There’s something about the weight of a physical book in my hands, its pages filled with shadows and secrets, that fuels my imagination. Whether it’s forgotten histories or short creepy stories, these themes linger in my photography, where I chase the same haunting allure.

Coding:

I fell in love with coding at 10 through Girls Who Code, geeking out over everything from cybersecurity to building websites—skills that now let me craft my own portfolio from scratch (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript are my tools). While Lightroom Classic handles my edits, coding gives me control over how my photography lives online, blending logic with artistry. Though I adore both worlds, photography takes the lead: it’s where I channel my technical precision into something visceral, turning eerie inspiration into tangible moments.

My Photography:

I got into photography randomly, but I really started liking it when I realized I could take pictures of hockey and other cool moments. I love shooting candid stuff—like people playing sports, performing in musicals, or just doing everyday things. My favorite photo right now is one I took at my school’s musical rehearsal. It just came out really cool, and it makes me proud.

Right now, I’m using cameras from my web design class, but I’m saving up for my own Sony a6100 with a Sigma lens. I’m still figuring out where to take photos and how to edit them, but my dream is to shoot for hockey teams or big events. I want to get better at capturing fast, exciting moments that tell a story.
